“We’re super individualized that there’s not this place to fit into. When we can stop worrying about that and start focusing on who we are being, everything takes on a different meaning.” -Shirley Owens
Today Shirley talks about how your tone speaks more about you than what you say. How do you want to be seen in the world? How do others see you? Do you approach the world with friendly, love and kindness? Or do you stand back and wait to be approached? Who you are being is everything. Shirley Owens: Welcome back. Today I'm reflecting on my conversation with Devi Adea. I always love talking about alignment, and this time it was more talking about aligning with our souls, I dunno, I just love that. How many of you think you may be weird? Or that you don't fit into the world? I know I have felt like that throughout my life,a bunch, and I think that most people feel like that because we're so super individualized that there's really not this place to fit into. When we can stop worrying about that and start focusing on who we are being, everything takes on a different meaning.

Debbie also talked about our tone and how her dad would always say that what matters more than what you say is the tone that you bring, I completely agree with that. There's an essence and an energy that we bring into everything that we do, and who we are being really does affect how others respond to us. I've had so many people ask me why they don't attract others. Whether it be that they don't have a lot of friends, or they're uncomfortable in social situations, or that they don't feel that they fit in, or the others like them. Imagine the tone a person could put out when they're sitting back in a corner of a room at sometimes gathering. Now, imagine the tone that someone that is at the door greeting everyone, who would you rather hang around? For me, it's always been super natural to be the one at the door greeting others and being friendly, but for some, it doesn't come so natural.
This week, I would have you try and notice your tone. What are you putting out into the world? Is it aligning with the outcomes that you want to have? If not, I want you to think about love and kindness. Then I want you to harness it. Go within yourself, grab onto it, and allow it to literally come out your pores. Watch what can be created from that place. We all have it in us, it's just whether or not we choose to use it.
I love you all and I really hope that you're all well and thriving during this time. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime and I will see you next week.
